About Beltzu Shih Tzu's
Beltzu Shih Tzu's is a small kennel breeding to correct type, soundness and temperment.
I purchased my first shih tzu from John Sheppard of 'ERINTOI' and I would like to thank John for allowing me to have her.
Showing was something I have wanted to do for a while and thanks to John I was able to achieve that dream.
My first shih tzu, Aust. Ch Erintoi Sweet Dreams "Hannah", a beautifully marked black & white girl titled with ease. We had lots of fun in the ring with Hannah. Not knowing what we were doing, all the mistakes were made with her, but we got there in the end.Hannah was a multi calss in group and multi class in show at both all breeds and specialty shows.Hannah became my foundation bitch, producing stunning puppies. We have now retired her from all duties (she is now desexed and will be my lounge lizzard wathing over her childern and grandchildren).
Our aim at Beltzu Shih Tzu's, is to strive to produce Shih Tzu's of outstanding merit, with beautiful heads, stunning mouths, correct high teapot tails, outstanding reach and drive with correct lay of shoulders giving them outstanding upright carriage, perfect balance and temperments fit for any lifestyle.
We mainly concentrate on breeding black and whites, with other colours sometimes available including gold and whites and gold/silver brindle and whites.
I am very proud of all the Shih Tzu's I have bred and those that have been shown. Those that have been shown are all either Reserve Best in Specialty Show, Best in Group/ Runner up to Best in Group, Class in Group and/or Class in Show winners. They all have been reconised by local, interstate and international judges.
Here at Beltzu Shih Tzu's we have successfully campaigned 11 dogs to their titles with 9 of them being homebred dogs. We also have 2 currently over half way to their titles and another 3 just commencing their show careers.
We look foward to many more years of showing and breeding.
